When my soul is filled with chaos, cluttered with rage and pain, you let me be that chaos

While I am at ease and time slows as we just be, you sit and join to watch time pass on

When you wake me each morning, I am greeted with your smile, song, and embrace

While I stir in slumber, battling my demons, you wrap your arms around my chest

When I become irrational, full of doubts and insecurities, you stand before me

While I become an unwavering force, ready to take the world, you embolden me

When we are apart, I feel those memories fade, and I find myself pulling you to me

As I close my eyes, it’s you I see, it’s you I feel in my slumber, it is you I need

This is how I know that there is so much more to this

As if we’ve been here before, will be again, limitless
